School Council
At Britannia, pupil voice is highly valued, and our School Council plays an important role in shaping and enhancing school life. Led by our Principal, Mr Hart, the School Council is made up of elected representatives from Years 1 to 6 who act as ambassadors for their classes and the wider school community.
School Councillors meet regularly to discuss a range of issues that are important to pupils, including wellbeing, behaviour, playground developments, enrichment opportunities and the overall school experience. They actively gather the views and ideas of their classmates, ensuring that all pupils have a voice in decisions that affect their school life.
Through their involvement in the School Council, pupils develop valuable leadership, communication and teamwork skills, while learning about democracy, responsibility and active citizenship. The Council's contributions help to drive positive change and ensure that Britannia remains a welcoming, inclusive and inspiring place to learn.
