SEND
Welcome to Britannia's Special Educational Needs page.
We believe that every child deserves the opportunity to achieve their full potential and flourish within a safe, inclusive and supportive environment. We are committed to ensuring that all pupils, including those with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND), receive the support, encouragement and opportunities they need to succeed both academically and personally.
We recognise that every child is unique and that some pupils may require additional provision at different points in their educational journey. Through high-quality teaching, targeted support and close partnerships with families and external professionals, we strive to remove barriers to learning and enable all pupils to participate fully in school life.
Our inclusive approach is underpinned by our school values and the 4Rs: Respect, Responsibility, Resilience and Reflection. We celebrate individual strengths, nurture confidence and independence, and ensure that every child feels valued, respected and included as a member of our school community.
On this page, you will find information about our SEND provision, the support available for pupils and families, and how we work together to help every child achieve their best.
Miss Emma Campbell is the school's Special Educational Needs Disability Coordinator (SENDCo). It is the role of the SENDCo to coordinate the support of the pupils identified as having special educational needs and/or disabilities.
