Welcome to Britannia Primary School
Britannia is a thriving school in the south of Ipswich with 656 pupils, including a 26 place nursery. Our vision is to develop responsible citizens, confident individuals and independent learners.
We strive to provide an outstanding learning environment with rich educational experiences. Our aim is to deliver an ambitious curriculum for life and not just for school, which is why we value the arts, humanities, science, physical and mental health as well as the academic subjects of English and Mathematics. We nurture the whole child, valuing childhood itself as well as preparing our children to be successful, contributing citizens of our society.
Unfortunately, it is not possible for prospective parents to visit for our usual school tours this year, however we have put together some videos, including a virtual tour, message from our acting principal and interviews with some of our Year 6 pupils, that we hope will help introduce you to our school. There is also an introductory presentation and link to our school prospectus below.
We hope that you will choose Britannia for your child's primary school journey!
