Apologies, Purple Mash seem to be having some technical difficulties. Our IT team is working hard to resolve this and is communicating with Purple Mash.
In the meantime, you can go to English - 2publish - Picture and Text to make your animal poster.
Can you remember the names of all the 3D shapes from before the Easter holidays?
Go on a hunt around your house to find these shapes.
How many of each shape can you find? Which shape did you find the most of? Which shape did you find the least of?
You could make a tally to show how many of each shape you found. You can either print our shape hunt worksheet or make your own by writing the name of each shape.
Extension: Can you count their edges, vertices and faces?
A shape, space and measure challenge to do some point during in the week. Have some fun with this; what can you find around the house to measure? Perhaps you could measure and compare your toys, the flowers in the garden, family members...the opportunities are endless.
Watch Mrs Stollery's video for more information on this challenge.
We will be changing how we organise Story time slightly. Each day, we will put a vote on the website as we did before. This vote will be open all day instead of finishing at 2pm. The winning story will be uploading late morning the next day instead of the evening before.
Before Easter, you voted for Miss Bennett to read Where the Wild Things Are by Maurice Sendak. This video and the quiz will be uploaded later today.
Tomorrow's story time (Tuesday) will be Mrs Cray's turn. Please click on the link below to VOTE. The voting will be open all day.
